I need to add a family member details to my account to book their radiology appointment? How do I do this?
If the radiology appointment referral is for a family member who is NOT currently listed on your Swiftqueue Patient Portal, then the family member is invited to register (verify their details) in order to book their appointment online.
- Once the patient details match the name on the referral, then you can book their X-ray appointment online.
- If the details do not match the referral, then the appointment cannot be booked online.
- If this happens, please contact your NHS Trust directly and they can book this for you. Please see their NHS website for contact information.
How to add the family member name listed on the radiology referral to your account.
If the patient referral for an x-ray / ultrasound / DEXA scan appointment is for a name that is NOT listed on your Swiftqueue patient portal, you will see this message.
- The email address on your referral is already in use.
- Please enter the correct details of the person the radiology referral is for.

- First name
- Surname
- Date of birth
- Postcode
- Relationship to account holder

- Click the register button once complete.
- The new family member is now added to your account and you can now book their appointment online.
- To begin booking, please choose the preferred hospital location for your radiology appointment and then follow the steps to complete your appointment.
