I've linked my NHS login account to my Swiftqueue account, but the email address on my Swiftqueue account is showing an old email address.
I don't receive any confirmation emails for my appointments.
If you have linked your Swiftqueue account to your NHS login and update your email address, this change should automatically feed through to Swiftqueue. (See below for exception)
This is important so that patient communications sent by Swiftqueue will go to the newly updated email address.
Note: Personal details can only be changed directly via NHS login and not via Swiftqueue.
Personal details updated via your NHS login, eg name change, email address change or mobile number should feed through when you next login to Swiftqueue.
If you change your email address or mobile number, there are two sections within NHS login to update so that your email address is correct.
Old email address or mobile number still showing on Swiftqueue, but correct in NHS login?
Please check these steps below to make sure your contact email address / mobile number has been updated.
Note: Screenshots may vary slightly as this is managed by NHS login team and not Swiftqueue.
Step 1:
- Log into NHS login or via NHS app.
- Navigate to the 'Account' section
Step 2:
- Click the contact details tab.
- This will show you the email address and mobile number currently set up
Step 3:
- Click change email address or change mobile number to update this information
Step 4:
- Choose ‘The email address my GP uses to contact me’ if the old email address is showing here.
- This is the email address that will appear on Swiftqueue account.
- Choose BOTH if you need to change the email address for logging in AND for contact details... so if you have a new email address and no longer use the old email address, then you will need to change both.
NOTE: If you only update login details, then this new email address will NOT feed through to Swiftqueue.
Step 5:
- When you select the 1st option (update email address), you will be prompted to enter the new email address and receive a 6-digit security code to confirm the new email address.
- Click continue to finish.
