Why change now?
- Access via NHS login is the standard for all patient-facing services and is mandatory for integration with the NHS login app. Swiftqueue partners with NHS login, so provides this service.
- NHS login has been available on our Swiftqueue site since June 2025.
- As a provider of patient services, Swiftqueue are required to comply with NHS England’s identification and verification specification. The switchover over to NHS login is a mandatory requirement for compliance.
Benefits
- NHS login allows you to access and manage your health and care websites and apps with one set of login details, making it much easier and quicker to use
- Switching to NHS login is also the first step in the journey, for appointments booked via Swiftqueue to be made available through the NHS app.
- While you cannot currently access your Swiftqueue account or view your booked appointments directly from the NHS app, this will be coming at a later stage.
- All the above feed into the overall NHS England vision to make the NHS app the digital front door for all patient services.
